RICHARD CAMPBELL, director of the journalism program at Miami University, is the author of 60 Minutes and the News: A Mythology for Middle America (1991) and coauthor of Cracked Coverage: Television News, the Anti-Cocaine Crusade and the Reagan Legacy (1994). Campbell has written for numerous publications including Columbia Journalism Review, Journal of Communication, and Media Studies Journal and he is on the editorial board of Critical Studies in Mass Communication and Television Quarterly. As a writer and media critic, he is a frequent speaker on public radio and television.

CHRISTOPHER R. MARTIN is an associate professor of journalism at University of Northern Iowa and author of Framed! Labor and the Corporate Media (2003). About the Author
Anh-Vu H. Pham is a Professor at the University of California, Davis, where he leads the Microwave Microsystems Lab. He has published around 100 peer-reviewed papers, several book chapters and one book, is currently the Vice Chair of IEEE International Microwave Symposium Technical Committee on Power Amplifiers and Integrated Devices and a Microwave Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE MTT for the term 2010-2012.

Morgan J. Chen is a Staff Engineer at FutureWei Technologies, an R&D US subsidiary of Huawei Technologies. He has worked in both academia and industry for over a decade, advancing high-frequency packaging from DC to past 60 GHz.

About the Author
Dr. Ron Larson is a professor of mathematics at The Pennsylvania State University, where he has taught since 1970. He received his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Colorado and is considered the pioneer of using multimedia to enhance the learning of mathematics, having authored over 30 software titles since 1990. Dr. Larson conducts numerous seminars and in-service workshops for math educators around the country about using computer technology as an instructional tool and motivational aid. He is the recipient of the 2013 Text and Academic Authors Association Award for CALCULUS, the 2012 William Holmes McGuffey Longevity Award for CALCULUS: AN APPLIED APPROACH, the 2011 William Holmes McGuffey Longevity Award for PRECALCULUS: REAL MATHEMATICS, REAL PEOPLE, and the 1996 Text and Academic Authors Association TEXTY Award for INTERACTIVE CALCULUS (a complete text on CD-ROM that was the first mainstream college textbook to be offered on the Internet). Dr. Larson authors numerous textbooks including the best-selling Calculus series published by Cengage Learning.

Anne Hodgkins received her Ed.D. in higher education from Texas A&M University at Commerce in 1990. She has taught at the secondary, community college and university levels. She currently teaches at Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona. She especially enjoys teaching intermediate and college algebra as well as calculus.
